Great Escape
The Great Escape Car Rally 2006
has been a fantastic success, with
a record $335,000 being raised for
Cystic Fibrosis.
On behalf of the CF Community and
Cystic Fibrosis Australia, I want
to thank everyone involved in this
year's rally for making it such a
success. Kitome Pty Ltd, our official
sponsor, has been a generous supporter
for many years and their continued
support is very much appreciated.
Thank you to the crews of our 48
rally cars, who with enormous enthusiasm
and humour made this year's rally
not only a successful fundraiser,
but also a hugely entertaining one.
To all the supporters of our car
entrants; the businesses, individuals,
local communities and family members
- your support has been amazing.
A big thank you goes to our Road
Boss Jamie Lawson for putting on a
great event - you nailed it again!
Thanks also go to Jamie's team of
officials who generously volunteered
their time to support the rally and
to the local communities we visited
along our route, thank you for welcoming
us to your towns.
We are now excited about our 2007
rally and hope to see everyone back
again. It's set to be another great
rally…with maybe just a little
less dust then 2006!
