The Cystic Fibrosis Great Escape is a car rally with a difference! In the ten years the rally has been running we have visited Port Douglas, Undara Lave Tubes, Great Keppel Island, world heritage listed Fraser Island, the Red Centre and Ayres Rock, the Birdsville Races, the Whitsunday’s, the magnificent Great Ocean Road, Burke & Wills Dig Tree, Batemans Bay and Kangeroo Island.
The Great Escape has forged a unique identity as being a friendly, laid back motoring event that caters for all walks of life. You could be a car buff who loves nothing more than to drive the Australian outback, or perhaps you are keen to get away with family and friends and try something a little different. You may like the antics that go with a fun car rally and love dressing up and being really loud and colourful – all in the name of having FUN – while raising funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) of course!
Our beloved Road Boss has an uncanny sixth sense in seeking out and finding hidden treasures in some of the remotest parts of the Australian countryside, so you can be assured you won’t find anything quite like The Great Escape!
